New Legislative Year to Begin on October 1st
The Tenth Term, Fourth Legislative Year of the Republic’s Assembly will begin on Tuesday, October 1st, with a ceremonial opening.
The new legislative year will commence with a session scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 1st, in accordance with the Parliamentary Rules of Procedure, which dictate that the legislative year starts on the first working day of October.
The Assembly held its last session on Tuesday, June 25th, before entering its summer recess. During the recess, the General Assembly convened twice for extraordinary sessions.
