Akıncı Expresses Gratitude to Medical Team Following Pacemaker Surgery
Former President Mustafa Akıncı, who underwent pacemaker surgery on September 19, expressed his gratitude to the healthcare professionals who played a crucial role in his treatment and recovery.
Akıncı revealed that after experiencing health issues, a pacemaker was implanted at Dr. Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital. Following a holter test and an evaluation of his arteries, it was determined that the procedure was necessary to address a problem identified with his heart.
He extended his heartfelt thanks to the cardiology team, including Drs. Cenk Conkbayır, Alptekin Özkoç, Burak Hünük, Levent Gündost, department head Hakan Debeş, Dr. Sait Kenan, and Hamit Kalfaoğlu, as well as Prof. Dr. Derviş Oral, who oversaw the process, and Chief Physician Adil Özyılkan, along with all the healthcare staff involved.
Akıncı also expressed his appreciation to his friends and citizens who sent their well wishes during this time.
