Fatma Ünal: "Now is the Time for Unity, Not Conflict"

In a written statement, Ünal addressed her fellow members, saying, "Dear members, now is not the time for fighting, but for brotherhood; not for conflict, but for reconciliation. Now is the time to march towards new and greater goals."

Highlighting the contributions of the party members, Ünal stated, "What makes the National Unity Party great are the loyal and devoted members of UBP. Our congress process has been marked in history, breaking records thanks to our members. Congratulations to all of us."

She emphasized that UBP is the country's largest party, saying, "It is now clear that the National Unity Party, with its members who stand by their homeland, nation, flag, motherland, lands, freedom, sovereignty, and state, is the indisputable largest party of this country. The driving force behind UBP is its members. They are the ones who lead the party to victory in every election and under all circumstances. Those who still choose to ignore this should take a look at our congress."

"A Triumph of UBP Members"

Referring to the large turnout at the congress, Ünal said, "Despite the unexpected heavy rain and all the challenges, some members returned three times to cast their vote, showing their dedication to the party and strengthening our leadership. With nearly 11,000 votes cast, this congress has not only been a historic milestone for UBP but also the largest participation in any congress in the history of the TRNC. If there is a record, a success, or a victory, it belongs to the UBP members."

Fatma Ünal concluded her statement by expressing her gratitude: "On this occasion, I bow with respect before all of our members on behalf of myself, the Girne Women's Branch that I proudly represent, and our Girne District. Let it be known that as long as we have these members in the party, no one can bring us down. Dear members, now is the time for brotherhood, not conflict, for reconciliation, not division.
