New Legislative Year to Begin Tomorrow
The Tenth Term, Fourth Legislative Year of the Republic's Assembly will begin tomorrow with a ceremonial opening at 10:00 AM. The session will feature speeches from the leaders of political parties.
As per the Assembly's Rules of Procedure, the new legislative year starts on the first working day of October, which falls tomorrow. The Assembly had its last meeting on June 25 before entering the summer recess.
During the recess, the General Assembly convened twice for extraordinary sessions.
