Date Set for Tripartite Meeting: 15 October
President Ersin Tatar and Greek Cypriot leader Nikos Christodoulides will meet on 15 October 2024 for an informal dinner hosted by UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres in New York.
According to information obtained by Kıbrıs Postası, the dinner will not have a formal agenda, and the two leaders are expected to engage in casual discussions in a social setting.
It has also been confirmed that the Greek Cypriot side has approved the date after consultations with the UN Secretary-General's office. The official invitation for the informal dinner will soon be extended to both parties by Guterres' office.
