Fatal Accident on Famagusta-Iskele Road: Zehra Karaman Dies at the Scene
A tragic traffic accident occurred on the Famagusta-Iskele main road early this morning, resulting in the death of 30-year-old Zehra Karaman, a passenger in the vehicle.
According to information from the police press office, the accident took place at around 05:10 when the driver of the vehicle, Kemal Dora (40), lost control near the Salamis Roundabout.
The accident happened due to Dora’s loss of steering control, causing the vehicle to crash into concrete barriers on the right side of the road and overturn. Zehra Karaman died at the scene, while the driver and another passenger, Mahmut Yılmaz (28), were injured.
Both injured were taken to Famagusta State Hospital for treatment. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
