UBP Decides to Continue with Kutlu Evren for Parliament Speaker
The National Unity Party (UBP) has decided to proceed with Kutlu Evren as their candidate for the Parliament Speaker position.
Party leadership made the decision to continue with Evren, and attention has now shifted to the upcoming Advisory Council meeting.
Following the Advisory Council's meeting, it will be determined whether a Parliament Speaker election will be held during today's session or if the General Assembly will proceed with its regular agenda.
Evren's candidacy was rejected by General Assembly yesterday with the majority of votes, 26.
