"This government has 29 MPs and has been serving for two and a half years. As the president, I believe that the country currently does not require early elections," Tatar stated. He stressed that the people are expecting services and that there are pressing issues, reforms, and projects that need to be implemented.

Referring to the Economic and Financial Cooperation Protocol signed with Turkey, Tatar emphasized the importance of executing these agreements and the government's program. "This government is in a position to carry out these tasks with 29 MPs," he added.

Following the conclusion of the party congress, Tatar expressed his expectation that the government would embark on significant reforms. He reiterated that now is not the time for early elections, given the critical juncture of the Cyprus issue and the reforms needed in the country.

Tatar also criticized Deputy Speaker Fazilet Özdenefe for not continuing the voting process for Kutlu Evren's candidacy after the initial session. "When I was abroad, Özdenefe was acting as the Speaker. According to the constitution, she was required to continue the voting process that had started," Tatar noted, urging all MPs to swiftly resolve the ongoing crisis and continue serving the country.

"Personal thoughts may arise from time to time, but the responsibility to the country surpasses everything," Tatar concluded, urging all parties to act with reason and focus on overcoming the crisis for the nation's benefit.
