The central organizations and six district presidents of the National Unity Party (UBP) have expressed their full support for UBP Leader and Prime Minister Ünal Üstel.

In honor of UBP's 49th anniversary, Üstel laid wreaths at the Atatürk Monument and the mausoleums of Rauf Raif Denktaş and Dr. Fazıl Küçük. He was accompanied by UBP MP and Party Secretary General Oğuzhan Hasipoğlu, Lefkoşa District President Mustafa Akyön, Gazimağusa District President Nahit Öncü, Girne District President İbrahim Erbildim, Lefke District President Adil Özgey, and Güzelyurt District President Mutlu Atasayan.

"We Stand Firm"

The statement from UBP’s central organizations and district presidents reaffirmed their unwavering support for Üstel, emphasizing, “We stand firm against any attacks on our leader and party.”

The statement added, “Anyone targeting UBP will face us,” and underscored the importance of Üstel’s leadership in implementing structural reforms and major projects that are laying strong foundations for the future of the TRNC.

“We Are Aware of These Games”

The declaration continued, noting that there are groups trying to undermine these successes but emphasized that UBP will not yield to provocations or smear campaigns. The party remains committed to defending its leader and its mission for the country’s progress.

The statement concluded, “In this challenging period, under the leadership of Üstel, we will continue to safeguard the interests of our people and state.”
