3-Minute Darkness for “Justice” in Cyprus
The Champion Angels Preservation Association is organizing a “3-Minute Darkness for Justice” campaign ahead of the fourth hearing of the İsias Hotel trial, which will be held on October 22 at the Adıyaman 3rd Heavy Penal Court.
The initiative will take place every evening from October 14 to 22, from 8:00 to 8:03 PM, with the aim of raising public awareness about this tragedy.
The association is inviting the public to turn off their lights during these three minutes each night until the trial, as a symbol of their demand for justice.
Ruşen Karakaya, the president of the association, stated, “They darkened our lives, and we seek justice to emerge from the darkness. The world will light up only when justice is served.” He emphasized the need for the defendants to be prosecuted for “possible intent,” believing this is the only way to achieve justice.
Karakaya also noted that while waiting for the third expert report, Cyprus and the world stand united in their call for justice.
