Serim emphasized the continuous and dedicated work of the CMP under all circumstances since 1981, aiming to locate, identify, and return to families those who went missing during the 1963-74 events in Cyprus.

Ambassador Serim expressed gratitude to the committee, highlighting its vital role and the importance of completing the identification of remaining missing persons. He also mentioned that Turkey annually supports the CMP and that this year's contribution of $100,000 brings the total donations since 2006 to over $1.7 million.

Hakkı Müftüzade, the Turkish Cypriot member of the CMP, thanked Turkey for its meaningful donation, acknowledging its impact on the committee's ongoing work. "As always, we are grateful to our homeland for their continued support," he said.
