Karakaya further expressed the deep sorrow and anger they feel each time they travel to Adıyaman, saying, "They have buried our lives in darkness. However, we believe that we will see a glimmer of light if justice comes with a verdict of intentional negligence."

Pointing out that everything is evident regarding the collapse of the İsias Hotel, which became a grave for their children, Karakaya said, "The facts are clear: the elevator issue, the tampering with the building's structural system, the absence of an approved plan. They committed fraud in the permits." She stressed that they would not give up, and if the expected verdict does not come, they will continue their fight.

The fourth hearing of the İsias case will take place on Tuesday, October 22, at the Adıyaman 3rd High Criminal Court.

As in every hearing, a group of around 100 people, including the families of the Champion Angels, politicians, and journalists, will travel to Adıyaman to attend the hearing. The group will depart for Adıyaman via Gaziantep tomorrow.

"We Expect a Verdict After 3-4 More Hearings"

Speaking to TAK ahead of the hearing, Ruşen Yücesoylu Karakaya noted that the trial was nearing its end and they expect a verdict within 3-4 hearings.

Karakaya explained that the new expert report is not yet ready and will likely not be presented at this hearing. She also mentioned that a large group would again be traveling to Adıyaman for the October 22 hearing.

According to Karakaya, the lawyers do not expect much to happen at this hearing, predicting that a new hearing date will be set within 15-20 days. She expects that the next hearing will be based on the new expert report.

Providing details about the process, Karakaya recalled that the court requested a new expert report during the hearing on June 12. This report is being prepared by a team of professors from Dokuz Eylül University and Istanbul Technical University.

Karakaya mentioned that the expert report is still not ready but noted that an inspection was conducted at the İsias Hotel on September 4. She added that she and the lawyers were present with the professors for three days during this inspection, overseeing the preparation of the report.
