Orange Alert Issued at All Airports in Turkey
Following the terrorist attack on Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ), all airports in Turkey, including Istanbul and Sabiha Gökçen, have been placed on orange alert for potential terrorist threats.
After the attack on TUSAŞ in Kahramankazan, Ankara, security measures have been heightened across the country. In response to terrorist organizations’ plans targeting airports, security levels at airports have been raised to orange alert.
STATEMENT FROM SABİHA GÖKÇEN AIRPORT
Sabiha Gökçen Airport issued a statement regarding the increased security measures, advising passengers to arrive at the airport at least three hours before their flights due to potential delays caused by the additional security checks.
