In a written statement, the Association shared the demands for justice from families whose lives were turned upside down following the collapse of the Grand İsias Hotel in Adıyaman on February 6, 2023, after the release of the latest expert report prepared by 9 Eylul University/Istanbul Technical University.

"Though We Cannot Bring Back Our Lost Ones, We Demand Justice"

The statement included the phrase, "Today, though we cannot bring back our lost ones, we demand that justice be served." It emphasized that this massacre was not a natural disaster but resulted from a chain of intentional acts that disregarded human life, as documented in the latest expert report.

"Numerous Security Failures and Violations for Profit Are Evident"

The statement highlighted the following points:

"Although we cannot bring back our loved ones, we demand that those responsible for these intentional acts be punished for 'causing death with possible intent,' both to honor their memory and to protect many people in the future.

The numerous security failures ignored, the measures disregarded for the sake of profit, and the deliberate violations of the law are evident. Every detail clearly mentioned in the latest expert report is a piece of the irresponsible chain that cost our loved ones their lives. These illegal acts and intentional violations cannot be ignored in any form."

"We Will Continue Our Fight for Justice Until the End"

The families reiterated their demands for the arrest of the suspects, who are currently being tried without detention, and for the prosecution of public officials who neglected their duties. "We once again declare that we will continue our struggle for justice until the end.

We demand that those responsible account for their actions before the law, that these crimes are punished with the heaviest penalties, and that all necessary measures are taken to prevent similar disasters from happening again.

We vow to deliver justice for the Champions Angels. We do not forget, we do not give up, we do not forgive!"
