Arıklı Describes Parliament Events as "Musical Chairs"
Transport Minister and YDP Chairman Erhan Arıklı characterized the recent events in Parliament as “musical chairs.” Speaking about the occurrences in the Republic Assembly today, Arıklı used the term to describe the situation.
Reflecting on his childhood, Arıklı recalled playing musical chairs frequently: “We would set up five chairs for six players and dance around them. When the music stopped suddenly, everyone would rush to sit down, and we would laugh at those left standing.”
Arıklı expressed amusement at the CTP’s "chair-grabbing game," stating, “Occupying a parliamentary seat in a manner that blatantly violates all procedural rules is quite an ingenious move. Congratulations!”
He pointed out that the public is seeking action, noting that the “Budget” will soon be discussed and there are pending laws. “And here we are playing musical chairs,” he remarked.
