Özersay: Who Is Responsible for the Death of the Infant?
The leader of the People's Party (HP), Kudret Özersay, has pointed out the need for accountability in the case of a 20-day-old infant's death and the deteriorating health of six other infants at the Emergency Hospital.
He criticized Health Minister Hakan Dinçyürek for failing to act by removing the hospital director, doctors, and nurses potentially responsible for the incident and called for the minister's resignation to facilitate a police investigation.
In a statement regarding the incident, Özersay emphasized that those who may have been responsible for the situation should have been removed from their positions, and the health minister should have resigned to allow the police process to proceed smoothly. He criticized the lack of transparency in the case, insisting that the individuals responsible within the healthcare system must be clearly identified.
