Hristodoulides and Fidan Meet for the Second Time in a Week
Greek Cypriot leader Nikos Hristodoulides and Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan met for the second time in a week, holding discussions during the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP29) in Baku.
According to reports in the Greek press, this meeting was considered a continuation of their prior engagement in Budapest. The conversation reportedly focused on the resolution of the Cyprus issue and the resumption of negotiations.
The two leaders previously met in Budapest last week and reconvened in Baku this week, marking two meetings within the span of a week.
