296 Drivers Reported in One Day
Traffic inspections conducted nationwide yesterday resulted in 296 drivers being reported. According to traffic units, 1,723 drivers were checked during the inspections, with 296 facing legal action for various traffic violations. Additionally, 39 vehicles were banned from the road, and one driver was arrested.

According to traffic units, 1,723 drivers were checked during the inspections, with 296 facing legal action for various traffic violations. Additionally, 39 vehicles were banned from the road, and one driver was arrested.
The Police General Directorate's Press Office reported the breakdown of traffic offenses as follows:
- 135 for exceeding the legal speed limit
- 15 for driving under the influence of alcohol
- 1 for driving without a license and insurance
- 30 for using a mobile phone while driving
- 19 for not wearing a seatbelt
- 8 for driving without vehicle registration
- 10 for driving without insurance
- 5 for not adhering to regulations for electric scooters
- 73 for other traffic offenses.
