Protesters marched from the old Cyprus Turkish Airlines building to the Prime Ministry, blowing whistles and chanting, "We want to produce, not perish." Banners displayed messages such as "Keep producing," "Producers are failing, the government is watching," and "We stand by our work, profession, and country."

Before the protest, locally produced goods were distributed to the public for free.

Kamacıoğlu: "Without Production, There Is No Country"

KTSO President Ali Kamacıoğlu highlighted the unity among producers, stating, "Today, production has transitioned from ‘me’ to ‘us.’ Producers have no desire to leave their factories and take to the streets, but we are here to demand solutions to our problems."

Kamacıoğlu stressed the urgency of supporting production, saying, "Our concerns are not extravagant; we simply want to sustain our production facilities and provide better opportunities for our workers." He added, "Without production, there is no land, country, or nation."

Ardıç: "We Are Here to Stay"

KTEZO President Mehmet Ali Ardıç emphasized their commitment to survival, stating, "We are here, and we will continue to exist. If our voices are not heard, we will return soon."

Tulga: "We Want to Produce, Not Perish"

KTEZO General Coordinator Hürrem Tulga criticized the economic challenges facing producers, pointing out the rising cost of living, such as "a kilogram of potatoes costing 130 TL." Tulga underscored their determination to persevere, saying, "If we can’t enter through the door, we’ll come through the chimney. Dialogue must continue, as we want to produce, not perish."

The protest concluded with calls for immediate government action to address the needs of producers and safeguard the future of local industries.
