In a written statement, KTAMS highlighted that high inflation is leading to increasing poverty among workers, retirees, and wage earners. The union cited Article 54 of the Constitution, which guarantees workers' rights to collective bargaining for the protection and regulation of their economic and social conditions.

KTAMS condemned the ruling UBP-DP-YDP coalition, accusing it of consistently shifting the burden of economic crises onto employees, retirees, and wage earners. "Despite the Constitution, the government’s anti-worker stance seeks to undermine rights during an economic crisis. We strongly condemn this attitude and remind them that workers are not defenseless. We will stand firm to protect constitutional rights," the statement read.
