KSTU Case Postponed to January 15
The trial of the officials involved in the Cyprus Health and Social Sciences University (KSTU) investigation has been postponed to January 15.
The university's General Secretary and shareholder Serdal Gündüz, International Office Officer Amir Shakerifard, and assistant Berk Özbek were brought to trial again today at the Nicosia District Court.
The defendants face charges including "Fraudulent Money Acquisition," "Fraud," "Forgery and Circulation of Fake Documents," "Manipulation and Fraud in Accounts," "Money Laundering," "Forgery of Bank Payment Orders," and "Theft by an Employee."
The court has decided to postpone the trial until January 15.
