The suspects face charges of "Carrying and Possessing Illegal Firearms," "Carrying and Possessing Illegal Explosives," and "Firing a Weapon in a Residential Area." They will remain in custody for three days while the investigation continues.

The incident occurred on December 22, 2024, when four shots were fired at the main entrance of the nightclub at around 8:00 PM. Following the attack, police discovered three 9mm spent cartridges about 60 meters from the scene, which were seized as evidence. Additionally, a Glock handgun, two live 9mm rounds, a magazine, and seven live 9mm rounds from the MKE brand were recovered 500 meters from the crime scene, buried in the ground. A green jacket was also found 700 meters away, which was taken as evidence.

Police traced the assailant's movements after following tracks in the area and reviewing security camera footage. They determined the suspect had entered a vehicle with license plate NY 607 and headed to the airport. Mehmet Temizkan, the driver of the vehicle, was apprehended in Gönyeli and confirmed that Kırkmaz had asked him to pick up a passenger and take him to the airport. Kırkmaz was also arrested and stated that he had transported the person to the Princess Nightclub after initially dropping him off at a hotel in Kyrenia.

The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are examining additional camera footage from the airport and around the crime scene to determine whether the suspects were involved in the attack. The court ordered that the suspects remain in custody for three days while further inquiries are made.
