According to Alithia, Huang had been involved in investments through a real estate and construction company based in the Ayios Demetios area of South Cyprus, contributing to the construction of student dormitories for the University of Nicosia.

Huang is alleged to be responsible for the trafficking of over 2,000 individuals. While his accounts in the Philippines have been frozen, the extent of his assets in South Cyprus remains unclear. Investigative reports have revealed that he possesses an additional $2.1 million in South Cyprus.

The suspect reportedly fled the Philippines in July but was extradited from Indonesia back to his home country in September. However, during a raid in February 2023, he managed to escape by helicopter.

Huang is said to hold multiple passports, including those from Cyprus, China, Saint Kitts and Nevis, and a Caribbean nation.
