2025 First Minimum Wage Set: Net 37,818 TL
The first minimum wage of 2025 has been determined below the cost of living increase. The Minimum Wage Determination Commission set the wage at a net 37,818 TL, with a 7.5% increase, amounting to a gross 43,469 TL.
Tahir Serhat, Chairman of the Commission, stated that the 7.5% increase resulted in a gross 43,469 TL and net 37,818 TL wage.
The minimum wage was approved by a majority vote, though labor representatives voted against it. Serhat also noted that the hourly wage is 250.78 TL, daily wage 2,006.26 TL, and weekly wage 10,031.30 TL.
