"This Country is Ours" Platform Holds Meeting on Cyprus Issue
The "This Country is Ours" Platform (BMBP) held a meeting to assess the current state of the Cyprus issue and discuss strategies for promoting peace and a resolution.
In a written statement issued on behalf of the platform, Cyprus Turkish Secondary Education Teachers’ Union (KTOEÖS) President Selma Eylem stated that the meeting took place on Tuesday at KTOEÖS headquarters. The platform evaluated the current situation regarding the Cyprus issue, the status quo in the north, and the policies being pursued in this context.
It was decided to hold another meeting next week to further refine strategies for advocating a solution and peace.
