Üstel Thanks Erdoğan and Shehbaz Sharif: "A Historic Step"
Prime Minister Ünal Üstel expressed his gratitude to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for their support of the Turkish Cypriot people, describing it as a "historic step."
Referring to the joint press conference held by Erdoğan and Sharif, Üstel emphasized the significance of their remarks and extended his appreciation.
In a statement on social media, Üstel remarked: "We consider the unwavering support of the President of our motherland, Türkiye, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mr. Shehbaz Sharif, for the TRNC and the Turkish Cypriot people, as a historic step toward our integration with the international community."
The Prime Minister concluded by extending his heartfelt thanks on behalf of his government and the Turkish Cypriot people, saying: "On this occasion, I offer my deepest gratitude to Mr. Erdoğan and Mr. Sharif."
