Police Confirm Donkeys Were Killed with Shotgun Shells
The Police Press Office has confirmed that the 14 wild donkeys found dead in Dipkarpaz were killed using shotgun shells. Authorities stated that a large-scale investigation into the incident is ongoing.
According to a police statement, forensic examination determined that the donkeys were shot with shotgun rounds.
Meanwhile, Taşkent Nature Park released a statement on social media, revealing that the donkeys were shot at close range in what it described as an act of violence. The organization also reported that one of the slain donkeys was pregnant and was killed alongside her unborn foal while in labor.
