Detainee Found Dead in Boğaz Police Station Cell
Eziz Sapartagaganov, a 41-year-old detainee held at Boğaz Police Station on charges of "Threats of Violence and Serious Assault (Domestic Violence)," was found dead in his cell.
According to police reports, the Turkmenistan national ended his life at around 03:30 on March 10, 2025, by using a fabric strip from his blanket to hang himself from the cell door.
A medical examination conducted at the scene found no signs of external injuries or force. The police have announced that the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
