Police officer Kadir Çetin presented the case details, stating that the suspects were detained on charges of "Violating the Medical Association Law, Forgery, Circulating Forged Documents, and Fraudulently Obtaining Money."

Between March 4 and March 7, 2025, the suspects allegedly posed as doctors despite not being registered members of the Medical Association. They reportedly visited the residence of a 75-year-old woman, S.D., in Haspolat, examined her, administered an IV drip, and provided medical treatment. They then issued a prescription under a hospital's name, forged documents, and fraudulently obtained 27,000 TL in fees.

The incident came to light on March 7, 2025, leading to the suspects' arrest and the initiation of an investigation.

Police stated that both suspects voluntarily provided statements admitting to the crime. During the investigation, it was determined that Vermez had previously worked as a first aid officer and Doğan as an anesthesia technician at a private hospital until their employment was terminated on November 7, 2024. Authorities also found that the 27,000 TL was received via bank transfer, and further examination of their bank accounts is underway.

Citing the ongoing nature of the investigation, police requested an additional six days for detention.

The suspects' lawyer argued that the medication they administered consisted only of over-the-counter painkillers and respiratory aids.

After evaluating the testimony, Judge Nuray Necdet ordered the suspects to remain in custody for an additional six days.
