Police Officer Mustafa Hayırsever presented the facts in court. The police stated that the suspect was arrested on charges of serious assault.

According to the police, on March 14, 2025, at around 6:30 PM, the suspect had an argument with his ex-wife at their residence in Alayköy. The argument occurred due to their divorce, and during the dispute, F.K. physically attacked his ex-wife, striking various parts of her body with his hands and feet, causing significant harm. The police added that the complaint was filed on March 21, and the suspect was identified and arrested on March 24. The assaulted woman was examined by a doctor, who found bruises and discoloration on various parts of her body. The police also mentioned that the investigation into the part of the case where the suspect could have interfered was completed, while the complaint was ongoing. They requested bail for the suspect.

In court, the suspect denied hitting his ex-wife and claimed he had three witnesses. The police clarified that these three witnesses were workers employed by the suspect and were unlikely to testify against him. They also stated that the victim had visible signs of assault on her body.

Judge Nuray Necdet, after evaluating the testimony, ordered the suspect to pay a 40,000 TL cash bail, sign a bail bond of 400,000 TL each from two guarantors, face a travel ban, and report to the police once a week for body inspections.
