Kubilay Özkıraç Appointed as New Chairman of KIB-TEK
Former EL-SEN President Kubilay Özkıraç has been appointed as the new Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Cyprus Turkish Electricity Authority (KIB-TEK). Following the dismissal of Hüseyin Paşa from the position, the new appointment was published in the Official Gazette.
According to the decision, Kubilay Özkıraç, former president of EL-SEN, has been appointed as the new Chairman of KIB-TEK.
The official decision states:
“The Council of Ministers, in accordance with Article 5(1) of the Electricity Development Law (Chapter 171), has decided to remove Hüseyin Paşa from his position as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Cyprus Turkish Electricity Authority, as per Decision Ü(K-1)657-2022 dated 31.8.2022, and to appoint Kubilay Özkıraç in his place.”
