Investigation Launched Against Officers in Greece for Anti-Turkey Cyprus Slogans

An investigation has been launched by the Hellenic Navy Academy following anti-Turkey slogans chanted by officers during Greece's National Day celebrations.

According to videos circulating online, students from the Officer Academy chanted slogans containing insults directed at Turkey during the military parade held on March 25, the National Day of Greece. Among the slogans were chants such as "Cyprus is Greek," along with further insults aimed at Turkey in connection with Cyprus.
In response, Turkey’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement condemning the actions. Shortly after the statement, it was reported in the Greek press that an investigation had been initiated against the officers who had chanted the offensive slogans.
