Üstel: New Supreme Court Building Will Be a Guarantee of Justice
Prime Minister Ünal Üstel emphasized that the new Supreme Court building will serve as a guarantee of justice, stating, "The foundation we lay today is a signature for the future."
In his speech at the groundbreaking ceremony for the new Supreme Court building, Üstel noted that the project is not just an architectural structure but also a symbol of the importance placed on the rule of law, justice, and an independent judiciary.
He added that the project would strengthen the institutional framework of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) and make significant contributions to the justice system.
Üstel also highlighted the brotherly ties between Turkey and the TRNC, mentioning the 21 billion TL investment program under the 2025 Economic and Financial Cooperation Agreement, which would support significant projects in health, transportation, education, and social housing.
He concluded his speech by thanking President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz, and all institutions involved in the project, wishing the new Supreme Court building success in serving justice and the people.
